Happy Blogthday!

(credit to Kelly for the combo of birthday and blog.... genius)

Okay, since I have to do everything Melissa does first, I'm copying... just like I did one year ago.

It's my blog's birthday!! Yep, it's been one year that I've been writing nonsense here, don't know if it's actually an accomplishment or not.

Anyhow, in keeping with my tendency to copy Miss, here's an awesome picture that is worth waiting a year to see:
Morning face. Well, maybe not specifically morning, but wakeup face.
It's a Jones trait. Can't fool anyone with this mug.

Bored.

Welp, we don't have anything exciting going on, but like usual, just need something to talk to the world about.

I mopped my floor, and yes, I use a commercial mop and bucket. It takes me back to my days working in the cafeteria at Mesa Jr. (Hey, cool people worked in the cafeteria, even Linae Morris, and she was a cheerleader!)
BTW, it takes me maybe a third of the time it used to without the big ol' mop. You should invest in one. Don't mind my fatty arm, it hasn't rebounded since having Oakley.
I made zucchini relish with the help of Alyson. I can't even explain how delish it is on tuna sandwiches and hot dogs. And guess how much it cost to make 6 pints? $1.40. If only we could live off of it. Hmmm... relish cereal, put some in a bowl with some milk, hot or cold, peanut butter and relish, what else?
Oakley got a hair cut. He looks adorable and like a big kid. It kinda makes me sad.
He also threw up in my mouth/on my face and pooped a weeks worth in the tub.

Hazaaah.

RSV3

If I were a chicken, I'd be this one. Well, maybe I'd want to be this one...
but I'd really be this one with freaky long legs.Last Friday, my sisters and my mom went to the county fair. It was free, and amazing, or AG-citing, as they deemed it to be.

This cake won a blue ribbon, as it should have, seeing as how the other cakes in the competition were like a round cake frosted pink with gold fish crackers ontop.
Since we didn't have to pay to get in like I thought, I let Oakley go on a pony ride, and I rode a mechanical bull. I just might get a, "save a horse..." bumper sticker now. Here Oakley's talking to Tina. She was very friendly.
And now my favorite part. The goats. Seriously, who knew goats were so cute? I want one. These kids were playing king of the mountain on the hay bails. I could have watched them forever but Oakley kept putting his hands in their water. Here Oakley is petting a momma goat, probably saying, "Meow," because I'm good at teaching my son things. Yep, that's a leash he's wearing.
The end. At least for fair stuff, but this is rsv? Yep, you get more.

Things I am loving:
Bedhead.
These things I got from Walgreens. They are freaking delicious. Somebody is a genius.Somebody else is a genius for inventing this. Yep, I went to Walgreens specifically to get this, and only this, and ended up getting the pops too, doesn't make my purchase any less weird.

Okay, if you're a gagger, skip the next picture. This is for reals my sad heel. I scrub, scrub, scrub it and it won't get clean. I know, it's gross, but at the pedicure place, they don't really scrub all that much even if you splurge the extra $5 for the callous remover.

Before:After:Here are some of the shavings, the rest are on Jason's side of the bed.The end.

What's up.

In case you haven't noticed, my life is fairly boring, so I haven't felt any reason to post as of late. However, I know I get bored when others don't update regularly, so, I felt it was time.

So, here's what I've been doing.

#1 / 4:20 : Pulling Weeds.

I thought it might be nice to pull weeds before they become monsterous in my backyard, and also thought, while I'm doing it I may as well get a tan. I quickly noticed that the neighbors were cleaning out their RV and could see over my fence, and didn't want them seeing me like this.
I'll just have to lay out in a clicky-clicky lawn chair sometime.

I completed the task about two hours later and decided to pose next to my amazing work. Oh, and I lost an arm in the process. BTW, it's not the easiest thing to do when your kid thinks that you want to play horse the whole time.
My sad, sad hands after the process. Yes, they snag on smooth things.

#2: Being the best wife ever.

I've packaged the cutest little gift baskets for Jason's auto glass company. It was super fun, but I can't make a quick decision if my life depended on it.
Awwww, so cute.

#3: Going to a Staff Meeting.

(actual phone call:)
Mindi: Good Morning Lakeside Cosmetic Dentistry...
Sara: Hey, its me. Um, what are we doing for staff meeting? Are we doing lunch or are we just eating there?
Mindi: We were just talking about what we should pick up. We're going to eat here and have the meeting at 12.
Sara: Alright, see ya in a few. (thinking, phew, I don't have to get ready, I'll just get there after I'm sure patients are gone and leave before any get there.)
Surprise! Guess where we went for lunch? Nope, not the office, Gecko Grill. I looked so amazing I didn't include the face. The cut-off sweats were enough.

On Mindi's behalf, I want to explain it wasn't her fault. She wasn't told the update. On everyone else's behalf, it wasn't their fault, I shouldn't leave the house looking like I'm straight off COPS.

#4: Obsessing over my Vacuum Lines.

Heaven..... for a second. If people would just quit walking on the carpet, it'd be fine.

The end.

P.S. Today at lunch with Kev and Nicole, I saw Erica Gordon and Chris Westergard. No, not together. That's all.
