Another Baby Post

Sorry! I know, I'm usually not a fan of kid posts, but lately, I've been obsessed.
I just had to show the babies as de-tube-ified as they've been since birth. They're cute.

Here's Nate playing peek-a-boo. (He's so advanced.)

And Reese sweatin' to the oldies.
P.S. Reese smelled like a baked potato.

P.P.S. They said that they'll get to wear clothes soon and will get to come home in 3 to 4 weeks. Hooray!

Somebody's creepy. I'll give you a hint, it's not Nate.
Yep, that's right. That's me holding Nate!! Finally, after 5 weeks, I got to hold my cranky little baby B. He didn't like it.

Nate opened one eye for the occasion.
[please excuse the bra-strap, it's not my favorite]

In other baby news: Reese had surgery #3 of 4 yesterday.

He liked it, you can tell by his grin.

It was to fix a connection he had between his trachea (wind pipe) and esophagus (food pipe.) Now, he can get air without popping holes in his guts and can get food without getting food in his lungs. (Surgery #1 was to put in a drain in to let air out of his guts, surgery #2 was to remove scar tissue that formed around his guts where the drain was and put in a g-tube and j-tube that can be used to vent his stomach and feed him into his intestines.)

By the way, he makes awesome spit bubbles. Oh and he's really not that fat, it's just the post-surgery swelling from low blood pressure. He's really, really cute.

Has it really been that long?

So, I think I feel old because today, Jason and I have been married for 10 years. Congrats to us, we are registered at Targetand a botox center / fountain of youth (and for a comb.)
Yep, we've aged a little bit.

So, walk down memory lane - this was my favorite picture. Hmmm. Nice eyebrows, me. Jason was worried about his thinning hair at the time. If only he'd know to love what he had.

These are some of my favorite pictures now.

Well, this one always was. Meet Maury, Jason's grandpa. I love that
#1: Jason will look just like him.
#2: All of our kids look / will look just like him.
#3: His hand is on my bum.
#4: His shirt is tucked into his underwear.

Okay, who said Brandt is the best photographer? What the...? Is this really a hot picture? And, btw, I love my mauve nail polish.

Similar theme to the last picture... this is bordering levi love. I think that a cowboy hat on Jason would complete the feel here.

Now, for pictures that make me feel okay that we've aged and it's not 1998 anymore.

This picture, I think, is amazing. I posted it for Kev and Jake's sake, and I guess Chris too. Disclaimer's for each of them: Chris had just cut his hair from Jesus long to Martha Stewart short. Jake was 2 days fresh back from his mission, and Kev: um... he was a teenager... wearing his band tux.

And the cousies... I love Julia's red tights and Trevor's obvious happiness to be there. Thanks for rushing to get there from your pop-warner game. Look how tiny Tanner, Dan and Annie are! Note: remember that no matter how much you do to a cultural hall, it's still a cultural hall/basketball court.
This one is just for Jenny.
