This guy has grown into a full-blown kid in the last year.
Maybe after making this last night, I was a wreck when we went and saw "Toy Story 3."
I love my little boy!
I'll have a sneak-preview to next year's slide show, when I find my camera. (Hey family, has anyone seen it?) I know you are on pins-and-needles, as Melissa quoted recently, no one wants to see someone elses' pictures unless you're in them or someone's naked. I can't promise either.

Yes, They're Real.
Reese got glasses. The eye doctor suggested we get them from the optical shop in his office. He explained that our insurance didn't cover them there, and it would at Nationwide, "but Nationwide's are crap."
Really? Really? Really.
I have a suggestion, Doctor. How 'bout next time, I'll grab the whole kit from Target so we can have the toy too, and it'll save us like $300. I'd hate to see what Nationwide's look like.
Regardless of my dismay, poor little guy can see! When we put them on him in the office, he just looked up at my face for a few seconds, totally studying it. Then he looked at his hands, then his toys and his whole world is better. He is now braver with trying to walk and stand, so, they actually are helping.
Oh, additionally, they are transitional lenses. Yep, they turn into sunglasses outside. Sweet.

Quick Update of Nothing with Pictures
We've been busy with a bunch of nothing.
Last week there was the tonsils. Ewww.
Then there was the scorpion. Ewww.
Then there was no problems with the tonsils anymore and the scorpion was dead, so we celebrated. Proof that we left the house:

And then I felt so much better that I decided to tease Jason and by wearing his old glasses and talk about how amazing they are because they are polarized. (They're not polarized.) For some reason it's funny. Kinda like when I tell him he says Rudolf "Rudaw." Funny, and he gets angry.
And then I thought there was poop in the washer.
It was just cherries. Phew.

Problems
Q:What did one mathbook say to the other?
A: "I've got problems."
(Note: that was given from the pulpit in my brother-in-laws ward during testimony meeting. Interesting. Almost as interesting as having to go to another ward today, because our building didn't have power, and sitting behind a lady that had a dog in a dog purse, like nobody would notice, IN THE CHAPEL.)
So yes, I have a problem. I LOVE TO EAT!
My family is having a couples biggest loser contest, and I might blow it for Jason and I. Last week we did great, but this week, I am dying for good food.
I have reverted to my days as a kid on fast Sunday and have turned to the outside freezer for love.

I can't seem to stop myself from sneaking out to the freezer and eating a spoonful of old, yellow-ice-crusted expired vanilla icecream.
And if it's not the icecream, it's the uwrapped tootsie pop hidden in the cupboard, one lick at a time.

Sorry Jason, I have no willpower. Maybe next time you can be married to Philip, the gold standard of willpower.
However, I knew that the tiny sneaks weren't enough to add up for the weight gain I've had this week. I'd gained 4 of the 5 pounds back. I was afraid I was sleep eating, and there would be a documentary soon on me on TLC, "The Woman Who Loved Food Too Much." (I know, not as intriguing as "The Boy Who's Arms Blew Up," or "Tree Man," but you get the picture.)

That was, until today when Jason revealed to me where all of the calories were coming from. I couldn't believe it. One of my favorite meals, in fact, if I were on BL, it would be in my light up box that gets unlit when I got sent home.

Peanut butter and Jelly. Oh, I love those sandwiches on crappy white sandwich bread. I'll eat them all day long, for breakfast, mid morning snack and afternoon snack. You know how much is in a PB&J? 380 calories!! Chase that down with a couple cups of skim milk and you are at 560 just to hit the sweet spot. Farts. If I wasn't me, I could eat a Chipotle burrito every day and still beat me in weight loss.
So, now I know, and believe me, you other contestants better watch out!!
Oh, P.S. I found a couple of really good chicken recipes, and I hate chicken.
1-Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken
2- Spicy Grilled Chicken, really not spicy, just tastes like steak. Yum.

6 Months Later
For Jason's class, I had to learn how to upload a video to YouTube. For that exciting video and to view HIS blog, you can go here.
Or, not. What you might enjoy is this video I made for the twins' birthday, in November. I'm definitely armature, but ya know, it's my first.

Bad Hair Day
Who, me? No, I'd have to do my hair regularly to have a baseline to determine the type of hair day. At this time in my life, I just have days I shower and days I don't.
Anyhoo, here's what I get for celebrating with pepsi that all 3 boys were down for naps at one time.

Sorry little plants, you'll be looking great all full of blooms in a month or so.

At this moment
My mother-in-law has all the grandkids (- the babies) over for a sleepover tonight. Bless her heart, right? So I should be doing something awesome, instead....
-I flipped between watching the olympics and Prison Wives eating pretzels until I got a canker sore.
(um, go America and your gold!)
(Annika, let your husband take the job in the furniture making department in prison, it will help him pass time since he is sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. You could use the money to get your tips filled.)
-Put the babies to bed
-Am listening to Jason watch P90X. He's motivated.
-And now I'm going to bed, so hopefully I'll wake up in the morning happy and be able to be on time for work, for the first time in probably 3 years, for reals.
P.S. Do we get our money back for the DVD's that were used to illegally burn P90X if we don't get results like this? And what exercises give you the tan? I'll just do those, tan fat looks better than white fat.
