RSV3

If I were a chicken, I'd be this one. Well, maybe I'd want to be this one...
but I'd really be this one with freaky long legs.Last Friday, my sisters and my mom went to the county fair. It was free, and amazing, or AG-citing, as they deemed it to be.

This cake won a blue ribbon, as it should have, seeing as how the other cakes in the competition were like a round cake frosted pink with gold fish crackers ontop.
Since we didn't have to pay to get in like I thought, I let Oakley go on a pony ride, and I rode a mechanical bull. I just might get a, "save a horse..." bumper sticker now. Here Oakley's talking to Tina. She was very friendly.
And now my favorite part. The goats. Seriously, who knew goats were so cute? I want one. These kids were playing king of the mountain on the hay bails. I could have watched them forever but Oakley kept putting his hands in their water. Here Oakley is petting a momma goat, probably saying, "Meow," because I'm good at teaching my son things. Yep, that's a leash he's wearing.
The end. At least for fair stuff, but this is rsv? Yep, you get more.

Things I am loving:
Bedhead.
These things I got from Walgreens. They are freaking delicious. Somebody is a genius.Somebody else is a genius for inventing this. Yep, I went to Walgreens specifically to get this, and only this, and ended up getting the pops too, doesn't make my purchase any less weird.

Okay, if you're a gagger, skip the next picture. This is for reals my sad heel. I scrub, scrub, scrub it and it won't get clean. I know, it's gross, but at the pedicure place, they don't really scrub all that much even if you splurge the extra $5 for the callous remover.

Before:After:Here are some of the shavings, the rest are on Jason's side of the bed.The end.

Okay, I love the pops too. Addiction. I'm so glad some one I know bought that pedicure egg thingy. Seeing how it worked for you, I'm now going to go and pick one up for my self. Thanks!!!

I think you photo-shopped that heel. There's no way your disgusting, cracked, perhaps puss infused heel could look that gooad after the ped egg. jk.

Wow! My feet need a make-over too! So long flip-flop worn all winter/autumn/spring/summertime feet!

Your little Oakley is such a rascal to play in the goat water. Good job with the leash idea! Who would have ever thought going to the fair could have been so much fun?!

Sara,
How fun to go to the county fair! I didn't even know they had one. I want to know about it next year. Okay I have some advice for your feet. If you put Neutrogena Foot Cream on at bedtime every night you won't have heels like that. (It has to be the foot cream not the hand cream.) I swear by this stuff. The cheapest place I have found it is WalMart. My feet looked worse than yours. This is a real testimonial. I promise. Good Luck!

I am so excited you found the Ped Egg because I've been looking for some heavy machinery tool to take care of my sick dancer feet. I'm almost done teaching so I can get rid of all my calluses. :) Thanks for the recommendation. BTW, those shavings are disgusting.

Naturally, when you gave the disclaimer of the disgusting picture to follow I was even more excited. And then for it to be of nasty feet! Awesome. How very satisfying to debride so much junk off your heels! I wish I could have watched. Or maybe I can just get a ped-egg for my nasty heels! Or maybe 2 or 3 would do the trick!

I think I need the Ped-Egg for my elbow in that picture. Yikes.
Also, listen to Aunt Elaine about the Neutrogena cream. I got the hand cream after she told me about it and I swear it is magical.

That was so disgusting,"the shavings." And when you click on your mechanical bull picture your foot looks really nice in that picture too! You are hilarious as always.

ok i totally want to go to the store and gets those pops now, they look freaking delicious. I am glad you bought that foot thing at the store because I saw it and thought it looked like it would work good but it also looked like it would be painful but your heel is amazing now :) i better get that and do mine before the poor nurses at the hospital get their hands cut up from holding my legs while i give birth. Love the bull riding pic too by the way! I am thinking when we all dressed up like cowgirls (and if you dont remember this i will scan the picture in for you) and went around the town taking pictures you must have secretly liked the outfits :)

Ha ha ha! Your toes are flared in the bull picture. If you were a chicken you would totally be a pretty one like that first one. Do you think they shave those long legged ones like they do the llamas?

The fair was awesome! I like the freakishly long legged chicken the best, so you probably would be that one. It's probably the hot model chicken!

Do they sell the pops in any other flavors? Maybe Diet Pepsi?! That would be the best ever! I wouldn't need any other groceries - EVER!

I imagine you have the skills to make a mad blue ribbon cake. You should do it, and then show/tell us all about it!
Okay, when Alan as reading you post, he got down to your heel pictures and goes, "Woah!" He was so impressed. It was great. I was impressed too. Do they have them at CVS? Don't worry, I'll check!

Seriously loving the bedhead and I need to get a foot scrubber like that my heals are awful.

Fun County Fair! What a FAIR to remember! So are you "pretty much a cowgirl now" since you did the bull ride? That's awesome! I also love the extreme feet makeover! My favorite part was that you said the rest of the shavings were on Jason's side of the bed! You're funny. Oakley's bed head is so great! Cute kid. I can't believe you guys can wear shorts! I don't even remember what that would be like....it snowed just last Saturday!!
Fun post Sara!

If I had a 9-5 job, THIS post is what I would talk about at the water cooler tomorrow.

hey I was at the county fair that same day with Rachel and Chad taking their engagement pictures! Wasn't that the best entertainment you've had in ages?! Holy cow... I wanted to stay all evening and just stare at the workers. I hope you got to venture over to the amazing bird exhibit, or the scary ninja show. I think Job from Arrested Development might have been there.
