It resembles the Grinch these days. ................................................
Okay, those of you that hate posts on kids, stop reading now. It's all I have to possibly talk about though.
.................................................
We're going to do a tag on him to so we can maybe see some progression in his little life.
20 months ago he:

2. was rolling over.
3. was still having serious issues with eating textured food. He gagged on anything with the slightest lump and didn't have enough teeth to really chew anything.
1. was 19 months old was LOVING nursery; still does thank goodness.
2. learned about time out.
3. put together his first sentence, "Mommy, I nunny (funny), huh?" What?
1. lived in time out. (I put the lock on the outside of the door. Arrest me.)
1. was almost two and being a sweetie pie.
2. went on lots of bike rides. 3. went camping for the first time.
4. taught himself to swim, kindof. He's a bit stubborn and doesn't want any help. I can't wait for the teenage years.
5. got his 1 year molars.
6. found a "drinking fountain" (air conditioning run-off hose) at grandma's and uses it all the time. Is there a vaccine for meningitis?
2. attempted potty training.
3. has repeated every single word I've said.
4. rode his new bike 1000 miles.
1. hung out with Dad all day while I went to Tucson for my cousin's shower.
2. bought me this awesome computer with dad as a peace offering for wrecking my laptop.
(yeah, have no idea how to use it so I'd love advise.)
today he:
1. was good in church. Hallelujah!
2. learned about family prayer in nursery and actually colored his picture instead of just being the crayon Nazi.
3. took a nap.
4. went to Grandpa and Grandma's and played with Bruce.
1. will go to Grandma's again and play with Bruce and go swimming.
2. probably won't eat, because he's anorexic.
1. will get potty-trained, if we're lucky.
2. will maybe get some more teeth and maybe actually swallow food instead of chewing and spitting it all out.
3. will become a brother and like it. :)
1. will be 5 and maybe starting kindergarten, maybe not though, we might wait a year.
2. will be potty trained, no "if we're lucky", if not he'll be one of those weird kids who wears tucked in sweats with light-up Sponge Bob teva's.
in 5 years he:
1. will be 7 and probably be missing most of his teeth and incredibly awesome looking.
2. might be into sports.
3. will not want me planning his life.

I love your Oakley tag. Is that a dough nut hole with candles? Ingenious. I think Grace is jealous of his bike.
Hygiene is not your calling, I really could see you writing for Parents magazine.
Cute kid, can't wait to see the next one...
I love him dressed as Mr. T. It makes me laugh every time.
Sara, you're sooo funny! You always make me laugh. Happy Birthday Oakley!
He does get increasingly cute every day and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him.
Sorry that his artistic genious caused you to feel like you needed to paint my bathroom. I'm thinking I'll finally refinish the coat rack that Kevin painted over with the same royal blue(same bottle of paint?)23 years ago and put it up just for nostalgia purposes. The bathroom looks great. Thanks so much.
Happy birthday Oakley! Alex and I are dying laughing right now because of that Mr. T costume. THAT is sick and wrong! But pretty funny! So good to see more pictures. Don't rush the potty thing, Max JUST trained himself in about 1 week. OK, he IS 3 1/2 but I didn't push him and 1 day he just decided it was time and did it all himself! All I have to say is it was so GREAT and easy! Miss you!
Amy
LOVED the post and all the pictures!
ps - Jared laughed at the comment you put on our blog, he likes you :)
If you have a grinch body than it is the cutest grinch body I have ever seen! Hooray for Oakley turning two. I love that Oakley "pity's the fool"! Will you choose my next halloween costume please.
Oh and I hope you didn't barf today when you were bottling chicken.
Okay, Oakley seriously sounds like Tori when it comes to eating. For the first year of her life she gagged at anything you put in her mouth. She still hates textures like nuts, fruit, rice, popcorn, wierd kid. And any time she was teething she was anorexic. She got all of her teeth by the age two. From 1-2 her teething years she only gained 1 pound. From 2-3 post teething years she gained 7 pounds. Sorry this is probably so boring, but I just thought you might want to know that he'll start eating again someday, but probably will still be wierd with the textures.
What a cutie he is. You are to funny. I crack up everytime I read your blog. Enjoy him it flies by so fast. Believe me.
I love that you did a Kid Tag...how cute is that! And he is a keeper for sure...I still love him as Mr. T, can't wait to see what he is this next Halloween:) And thanks for supporting my favorite team...GO DEVILS! Lol, I am such a geek, I know!
