Anyhoo, so since I was lying as still as I could, trying to force my eyes to stay closed, and that didn't work, I decided to get up. I had some chocolate milk. What to do next? Blog. (Honestly, I did consider folding laundry, but the breaker for the lights must have flipped on that side of the house, and I don't want to go outside right now, because that would mean that I would have to get dressed just incase someone was driving by (heaven forbid walking by) at this early hour.)So, here's a list of things I was thinking about while lying perfectly still:
I wonder if I'm having a boy or a girl. I should have scheduled my ultrasound sooner... I could know by now!
To do today:
-mop the floor
-get new license with the right address (it's only been 2 1/2 years) and new picture because I'm vain, and the current one looks like I have tadpoles for eyes.
-start making this dress.
-email Amanda and figure out what the fam will wear. I think I'll wear this, because it's my current favorite. (Note: this is not exactly the shirt, I couldn't find the picture on-line, and this is pretty close, just different colors.)
How do I get this for less than $150?

What do I say to the nurses to get me an epidural asap? Drop names? (I know, it's 5 months away, but I was laying there thinking for a good hour and a half!)
The house is way too quiet. Is the fan on?
.......... That's all. Sorry for the boring post... but as mentioned before, I'm not a morning person, and if I can go to sleep now, I'll have just over two hours before Oakley wakes up.

I hate it when I can't sleep, except I don't think about anything pratical. I think about all of those terrible what-ifs...like what if I die or what if both of Jakes hands get crushed and he can no longer pursue his profession that we just spent hundreds of thousands on, or what if I start getting spider vains in my legs or what if a preditor gets in my house...you get the idea. No fun. Cute dress though.

i hate charlie horse cramps when your pregnant...ooooo they are the worst!!!! remember the time we were driving with my mom and we had to pull over so i could stretch out my calves....that is one pain i will never forget and here is the remedy....calcium with magnesium and bananas for potassium. that is what women are low in when those darn cramps come on. its always amazing to me how they go away when you have the baby! also, try poweraid option...it has really good vitamins and not alot of sugar. hang in there sara, i can't wait to know what you guys are having! so fun! but not while you are pregnant!
oh crap! i forgot about the charlie horse thing. those kill dude.
i heart your train o' thought. and i agree with nat: way to have practical things going on in your brain @ 4:37am. i on the other hand, would probably just go watch 4 dvr'd episodes of something mind-numbingly-stupid {yet equally hilarious} like 'the soup'.
fabulous sara-post, per usual.
Oh I hate those leg cramps, I get them so bad when I am pregnant almost every night in fact. And what do I hate more, not being able to sleep, I am just like you I need/love that sleep. Also where did you get that shirt it is way cute I might have to copy you. :)
I hate, hate, hate when I wake up and then start to think! I'm with you, I always think about all the stuff that's going on, and things that I should do tomorrow, and such. I've tried getting up and making a list, but that just feeds the fire. ARG! I want to make that dress too, okay? Do we need to take a trip to SAS?
Love the furrow-brow. I think getting old makes you sleep crappier. I used to be such a good sleeper, but now I get up many times during the night. Usually just to go to the bathroom though. Maybe I should just take some Flowmax or something. The worst is when you wake up like 20 minutes from when you have to get up anyway. I am usually cranky for the rest of the day when that happens.
