[please excuse the bra-strap, it's not my favorite]
In other baby news: Reese had surgery #3 of 4 yesterday.
It was to fix a connection he had between his trachea (wind pipe) and esophagus (food pipe.) Now, he can get air without popping holes in his guts and can get food without getting food in his lungs. (Surgery #1 was to put in a drain in to let air out of his guts, surgery #2 was to remove scar tissue that formed around his guts where the drain was and put in a g-tube and j-tube that can be used to vent his stomach and feed him into his intestines.)

Congratulations on your new little ones. I'm sorry things didn't happen the way you had hoped. Nate and Reese are beautiful and I'm so happy you will have the experience of raising twin boys.

Yea for the surgery going so well. I am glad banana fingers could do the job. Nate is so tiny and cute too! I am happy you finally got to hold him.
Erin said that Reese was going to have surgery - I'm glad it went well - what a little trooper!!! It's hard for me to imagine holding one that tiny - I'm sure you can't until you actually do.

They are so tiny and sweet! I'm sorry that Reese has been having such a tough time- I hope that everything continues to go well and you get to bring them home healthy soon! PS you look GREAT!

congrats on gettin' to hold your little man. (:
Hurray! I had to go 5 days, I can't imagine 5 weeks!! They are so cute and bring back so many memories!!
I was totally wondering why Reese was so chubby, thanks for clearing that up. I am glad his surgery went well. He still has another one? Poor guy. He is cute! So is Nate! I am so glad you got to hold him! Funny little boy to be all cranky. Doesn't he know he is suppose to be nice to his mom? Congrats anyway! BTW I like the bra strap....at least it doesn't have a hint of brown/dirt and isn't hanging out the bottom of your sleeve.-Nat

sorry it wasn't posting fast enough for my liking and I got a little anxious.
I want them. I'm serious! Oh- sorry this will be post #4 from "the jones fam". Reese's spit bubbles are my favorite. And you don't look creepy at all... maybe a little nervous trying to make a good impression on Nate so he'll like you, but he'll come around! We're still praying and rootin' for these little fellas.

I'm so happy that the boys are doing great, they are growing already. Reese sorta of looks like his Great Grandpa Palmer in the post surgery pic. Glad all is well Love you guys Aunt Susan. Yes Jason it is I.
I am so happy that you were finally abe to hold Nate!! You look so pretty in your pic (not creepy btw). What a huge milestone. The pictures and descriptions bring back a flood of memories. I am so happy to read that the boys are progressing so well, what little fighters! Thanks for the updates.
Sara, you look so pretty in your pictures. I can't believe you had to wait that long to hold him. I think I'd be cranky too if I had all those tubes, and people poking me all day. Poor guys!
