Since becoming potty trained, he'll often just show up next to me, whatever I'm doing, bottomless. He'll be completely silent and so I'll turn all the sudden and - whoa!- naked kid. It freaks me out.
His favorite song of the moment is Poker Face. I dunno.
He refers to boobs as "shoulders." It has been very helpful when he says it in public, "Wow, big shoulders." It only makes Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes slightly awkward.
I just heard him turn on his Leapster and close the door. Not fooled. Go to bed!!

I want more! Seriously, I could read about this guy for hours, and even though I know most of it, it would still make me laugh.
By the way, while camping and I was changing him, I told him to put his hands on my shoulders, which I now realize could have been a disaster. Luckily, I pointed to mine (shoulders, not boobs) while I said that.
oh my gosh - i LOVE that kid!! you have jake have the funniest kids seriously.
Sorry, it was my kids that taught him "Poker Face" - except I think he sang it "Polka Face". He sure is cute! Thanks for letting me hang with your kiddos the other day, they were so good for me!
whew! i'm glad it was Alyson's kids and not Stockton, like i thought. i will gladly let Alyson take the credit for this one. catchy tune....just stays in your head forever!
L O L. I'm pleased to see Oakley and my husband have a couple things in common, their unabashed love for Poker Face and well... for shoulders as well.
Happy 30th!!
Ohhhhh - I miss him!!!
ok really i don't read your blog that often but when I do I am seriously laughing. I think we need to go to lunch because we have a pretty similar sense of humor. and Baylies fav song is pokerface too. She thought that the baby was in my boobs. so when you would say where is the baby she would pat my boobs. lovely
