Me too! Jason got to hold Nate today for an hour and a half! He was such a good baby and tolerated it well.

I did get a little bit ticked when Jason complained while holding him that he was hot, or that he needed a drink, or his back hurt. I reminded him that he was holding the baby and
some of us haven't gotten to hold him yet even though we carried him for 7 months in the womb and had a 6 inch cut glued shut on our belly that feels like fire when anything touches it and we can't stand up all the way without wondering if we're going to split open.... so, he was grateful.

We also had to get a picture of Nate with his stuffed animal that is way bigger than him so that we have something to compare him to in size. (I'm just realizing as I'm typing this that that is what rulers are for, so it kind of doesn't make sense.)

Anyhow, aren't they cute? Even if Jason does look like he has a porn-stache.
Tomorrow I'm calling dibs.
*UPDATE* I did get to hold one of my babies! On Sunday I got to hold Reese for a blissful hour, and give him lots of kisses! Almost 3 weeks after they're born, I'm getting to give them love - more than "petting" them through the holes in the "fishbowl." We do have a picture, but I can't find it, so- when I do, I'll post it.

ps - i like the porn-stache - ha ha.
Cute little Nate!! I love that Jason complained and you put him in his place! Your awesome and you have a scar on your stomach to prove it! Nate looks so strong and healthy and happy! Yes, I said happy. I love these pictures! -Nat
Sara and Jason, little Nate is sooo cute and tiny! And he's looking strong and healthy. Good for him. Sorry your guts feel like falling out. Keep extra super glue on hand. And don't let Oakley get it! LOL
Kelli
My sweet Sara! Just four things: 1)I'm so glad the little guys are big enough for you to hold now. Maybe they will be big enough to wear the adorable booties and hats that Kelli made soon, with their little light-days pads that they sport for diapers.
2)Bird vs. Nate puts things in perspective better than any ruler.
3)I was wondering about Jason's 'stache but then I enlarged the picture and saw that his teeth also had hair on them. A grainy picture or one day's growth of facial hair = no big worries.
4)I can't wait for the day when you can stand up straight and not have it kill you. Hopefully that day comes before you have to lift two 55 pound carriers at a time.
You are amazing!

Oh Sara! I am so glad that you are finally able to hold them. Isn't it great! Good job boys for tolerating it so well.
Your boys are beautiful, happy to hear that they are getting stronger each day!
So those pictures are adorable, and I also put a comment on your mole blog, because I have experience:) and I also wanted to say that the mole on that woman's face looks like a cracked junior mint. I'm just sayin.
I'm so glad I sneaked onto your blog - I got to see the babies!!! I thought it was no fair that Lafe got to see them! I hope you don't mind me stopping by.
